About Alan
Alan loves the world around him. Whether he is backpacking, fishing, going on a bike ride with his wife Vicki or simply taking in the awe of the natural world, he is finding inspiration everywhere
After graduation from UWSP with and Arts degree, Alan taught in the Appleton School District for over 25 year. His time teaching art gave him the skills to meet students where they are and help them grow in their skill and understanding regardless of their skill level.
Working with clay has been Alan’s medium of choice. Clay’s ability to take countless forms, be used as practical pieces as well as Fine Art pieces and it’s accessibility to any one are all reasons it is his medium of choice.
